The inspiration for my work will always be rooted in my love for the horse.
Originally a small table top bronze, Tied At The Hip was one of my favorite pieces. Sculpted as a wedding present for my sister and brother-in-law, I am excited to add this 6’ tall version to my collection of equestrian monuments. It’s magic…kind of. Actually I prefer to think of it as an exercise in trust. A blank canvas is full of endless opportunities so I narrow them down by starting with a color selection and let the paint take over. Here is a quick video of the start of my favorite diptych, “You Must Be New Here”.
